The European Commission has selected 85 innovative zero-balance projects to receive EUR 4.8 billion in grants from the Innovation Fund, contributing to the implementation of clean, cutting-edge technologies across Europe. Eligible projects include three Greek companies: the Olympia Group's Sunlight project to build a large-scale lithium battery plant in Western Macedonia, an investment by ELVAL COLOUR/Viohalco Group for Ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (Ebeam) curing techniques for aluminium, and an investment by Advent Manufacturing of components for Energy Intensive Industries.
