Highlights June 2024

The Greek startup ecosystem has dropped three places this year, while remaining in the top 50 of the world. In particular, as shown in the new report "Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2024" by StartupBlink, which maps and evaluates the startup ecosystems of 1,000 cities in 100 countries worldwide, Greece fell to the 49th place in the global ranking, (with a score of 4,515).
Greek startups have raised $490 million in capital since the beginning of the year, proving that the ecosystem remains visible on investors' radars and that innovation made in Greece is able to mobilise capital. Capital was raised in 46 funding rounds, involving 42 domestic and international investors.
